Welcome to ehle-project

Empowering Health Learning for Elderly (EHLE) Project aims at improving skills and competences of professionals working with elderly people, by creating innovative training models; it is also intended to share knowledge and experiences between partners in order to obtain wide-scope results in the field of lifelong learning for elderly; finally, these results will be implemented through the production and distribution of training material and training aids on the territory. EHLE Project is funded by the European Commission under Lifelong Learning Programme -  Grundtvig.

The EHLE project has been presented by Elena Curtopassi (Veneto Region Bruxelles Office) to the members of the ENSA Elderly Network in their meeting of last 26th and 27th November in Stockholm, The results of the project and training toolkit will be presented during the annual ENSA general assembly that in 2010 will take place in Madrid.

 The department of Alpes Maritimes that had already hosted the last june the pilot training of the EHLE project, accepted the UNCCAS request to present the training toolkit of the project.

The deputy mayor Mr Benchimol, the vicepresident of  CCAS jean-Michel Galy, the UNCCAS vicepresident and President of UDCCAS 06 Madame Martinaux presented the results of the project to hundred of participants. Madame Joëlle Martinaux who is also a physician, expressed her interest for the project results that are conformed to the actions planned by Nice and sorrounding cities in favour of the elderly.

The training toolkit have been distribuited to people who were interested and more training courses will be organized in the Nice department in order to exploit the useful information and methods for healthy lifestyles of elderly

UNCCAS Exploitation PDF Print E-mail

Next  9th and 18th December the EHLE project will be presented by UNCCAS to professionals and volunteers of CCAS, CIAS and UDCCAS in order to disseminate and exploit the results of the project developed in the framework of the LifeLong Learning Programme – Grundtvig.

Other important meeting will take place the 12th January in Nice and the 26th January in collaboration with the CCAS from Tourcoing / Roubaix / Marcq en Baroeul.

Veneto Region: Exploitation meeting PDF Print E-mail

Chiara Corti, project manager of the EHLE project, Giancarlo Ruscitti, Secretary General of the Health Department of the Veneto Region and Luigi Bertinato, Director of the International social and health affairs office of the Veneto Region met the last 30th November the representatives of the local health unit of the Veneto Region in order to disseminate and exploit the results of the EHLE project.
