In this article you can find the most relevant documents on the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) that supports learning opportunities from childhood to old age in every single life situation. It has a budget of € 7000 millions for the period 2007-2013, and is the successor to the current Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci and eLearning programmes. It is composed of 4 sectoral sub-programmes, 4 transversal programmes and the Jean Monnet programme. One of these sub-programmes is Grundtvig that supports the EHLE project.

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for the management of LLP programme and of other programmes in the fields of education, culture and audiovisual. Fully operational from the 1st of January 2006, the Executive Agency operates under supervision from its three parent Directorates-General:  Education and Culture (DG EAC),  Information Society and Media (DG INFSO) and the EuropeAid Cooperation Office (DG AIDCO).
