Meetings

A bilateral meeting between the italian and spanish project teams will take place on 14th January in Venice. The purpose of the meeting is to focus on the results of the perception analysis and to develop the training concept, defining practice methodology for the pilot training and development of specific tools/aids to communicate with older persons. Specifically until now the Alicante University worked on the creation of four working groups for each module, including teachers working at the University, experts in the fields of nutrition, exercise, use of drugs, smoking and emotional health. They have collected training material in a format ready for 2 frontal lectures:

1 in the field of :
Emotional health: cognitive decline, aging and depression, memory enhancement, including collection of the scientific evidence on the association, impact on health outcomes and evidence-based interventions.
1 in the field of:
Effective risk communication with seniors
Adult education and coaching techniques with positive feed-backs
Health promotion and empowering in older persons
Consumer health
